Rosie posterWe need a change in our schools.

Let your opinion be known and volunteer to help – every little bit makes a difference.

Please come to an informational meeting geared specifically for Districts 7 and 9 with Debra Goldman and Deborah Prickett, sponsored by Wake Schools Community Alliance (a coalition of many parent groups in the county, taking action towards a better WCPSS solution,www.wakesca.org).

These School Board candidates are running in these districts and would like to talk to you about the most relevant issues we currently face.

Specifically, we’ll discuss Mandatory Year Round, what EOG/EOC test results mean for us, and reassignment issues – as well as the election landscape and what you can do to help make the changes we need in our county.

Come speak your mind and get involved.  The meeting will take place on Sunday, August 16 from 3:00-5:00 p.m. at:

One size cannot fit all in a school system as large as Wake County's and so we are looking forward to understanding what concerns Eastern Wake citizens has for the new school board candidates. All Wake County citizens, especially Eastern Wake residents are encouraged to come and hear for yourself how concerned parents are building bridges of dialog and holding the school system accountable. Join us and together we can elect four new candidates which, across this large system, will address our communities' unique educational concerns.
If you would like to invite someone, please send their name, email & town to us at info@wakesca.org and/or RSVP within our Facebook page.

This meeting is for ALL Wake residents interested in challenging the WCPSS reassignment process and other severe problems within our school system.
